Trip to Sonoma Wildlife Rescue

We had the wonderful opportunity to see some of the wildlife that is from our area. It was a beautiful view and we got to see animals that can no longer survive in the wild, so their home is now the Sonoma Wildlife Rescue.
We saw some red-tailed hawks, and then 2 shy foxes.


Next we saw 2 coyotes, one if which was missing a leg. We got to howl and they started howling like crazy!

These bobcats are brother and sister. The boy was missing a leg.
The raccoons were really inquisitive.



Then we saw a skunk (but he went back in his shed) and an 0possum.
After the squirrels we got to see a very shy bobcat. Really neat animals.

Annandel State Park Sunday Afternoon Hike

We had a fun hike at Annandel--definitely enjoying the rushing streams and waterfalls due to the recent rain.

The kids had fun climbing on old trees...and jumping off!





It was quiet and peaceful with the sound of rushing water to the right, and wild turkeys calling to us on the left.


Trey had lots of fun since he had boots on...although by the end he was sopping wet with water sloshing around inside his boots!
We found some neat waterfalls to explore.

How amazing is our Creator! We praise Him for His creativity.

Visit with the McAdams

We had a great visit with the McAdams--it was great to spend time together and go for a hike.
