September Fun

 We enjoyed a quick visit to Santa Barbara to see Georg, Jacqueline, and the kids.  The cousins watched some German Curious George while Jacqueline and I went for a jog.  Then we went down the steps to the beach.  It was such a beautiful day!

We also got to go to Ventura and spend some time with my dad and Heidi.  They were busy when we got there, so we went to the beach.  Maggie and Carl worked on surfing.

Maggie's Birthday and Neighborhood Picnic

 

Maggie turned 13 this year!  We had such a fun time celebrating her birthday starting with breakfast and presents, followed with church and fellowship with volleyball!

 Maggie had a soccer party this year--with a rousing game of adults vs. kids soccer and lots of yummy treats.

 We ended our weekend with our annual Neighborhood Picnic!  Such fun with friends.

Maggie's 13th birthday

 To start Maggie's 13th birthday celebration, we took her to The Melting Pot for a nice dinner with Mama and Papa.

We got to have a fondue feast!  First came the cheese course, then salad, then main, and finally dessert!
