I was lying awake a bit overwhelmed with all the things going on and needing to be done. I tried to narrow it down. "Ok, Lord, what is the most important? Glorifying You?" And then He reminded me.
"No--it's LOVING me, soul, heart, mind, strength. Completely loving Me." As He says in Mark 12:30: Love the Lord your God with all your heart and with all your soul and with all your mind and with all your strength.
As I remembered that first commandment, I was amazed at how when I love Him completely, everything else falls into place. Loving Him somehow comes back to me. I get to in turn have love for others. I get to be gentle and patient, pour myself out, and...feel joy! What a wonder! Why do I forget this so easily?
