Surgery

I had my ACL reconstructed yesterday, and they fixed up other "owies" in my knee. Apparently I had torn my meniscus and had arthritis as well. I am praising God that it all went so well. I was super sick over the weekend as I apparently don't tolerate Vicodin very well, so I went in yesterday so nauseous, weak, and with a rocking headache. I was able to listen to Sons of Korah on my iPod, which definitely got me in the right frame of mind. I am so thankful for my family, neighbors, friends, and our church for all the love and support. As I lie here for a few day with my "toes above my nose" to keep my enormous knee elevated, I have more opportunities to slow down and pray for people...and to remember the faithful provision of God's strength through these last years of knee pain and that He got me here to this point. He is good. This has to be good.
