Happy Birthday, Vati!!!

May 7th marks the 75th birthday of my father, who was born May 7, 1936. I am flying down to Ventura to spend the weekend with him and my 3 siblings, the first time we've all been together in one spot in 9 1/2 years. I am so thankful for my dad. Not only does he really love me, but he shows me what my Heavenly Father is like in always being available WHEN I REALLY NEED HIM! I call my dad, and he has advice and quiet wisdom that I really appreciate (now). He is also an amazing artist who is my own, personal art critic. Happy Birthday, Vati (Daddy in German). Here is a painting I painted a while ago of him and my children walking to the beach.

And here is one I just did for his birthday.

The girls had the opportunity to go to Ft. Ross on an educational overnight. Here they are getting ready to go.
