When we first got to Doran, it was foggy. The kids got right to work on their playing.
The next morning we snuggled.
And then went for a pre-breakfast walk in the beautiful morning light.
We found enormous muscles and crabs.
Later on, Wendi and Sophie came to play, and then the Andres came and went swimming and crabbing with us.
Maggie rescued this sea star from a sea gull by chasing the sea gull down.
Then she rescued this crab from a sea gull. You can see the gull in the background.
Lily found a fun hat.
The kids enjoyed playing with seaweed.
We tried our hand at crabbing from the jetty.
We roasted hot dogs and marshmellows. Such a nice day!
Carl and the kids went crabbing several more times--we ended up with lots of crabs!

Trey liked finding crabs and crab parts to play with.
This guy kept coming to our spot.
Such beautiful weather to skim board and play.

The Eddys came out and helped feed the sea gulls.
Lily tried to keep Bryce from the water. So cute!
Bryce and Kellen admired Trey's crab parts.
Kellen helped get the crabs and we had a crab feast!
The mornings were so glorious--such a gift from God!

Lily is trying out new fashions with the seaweed.
The ride home was fun too. I found a lollipop for each one in my purse as I was cleaning it!
